Abstract
Several researchers have taken on the question of the differentiation of employment careers among youth. Nevertheless some differences in employment careers cannot be explained through the variables of social origin, educational background or the structure of the labor market. For instance, other factors such as "youth temporalities" highlight the importance of considering elements that are found beyond the sphere of employment. "Youth temporalities" discuss the theses that indicate that in Argentina the young people are prisoners of a presentism or they live inevitably under an uncertain labor context. The data was drawn from a two-year qualitative longitudinal study. We are then able to identify four "youth temporalities": the "planners", the "executants", the "latents" and the "opportunists"
